Hurt Town Charter

The Town of Hurt, like other municipal corporations across the Commonwealth of Virginia, was established by and perpetually operates in accordance with an official Town Charter approved by the General Assembly. A charter is, in effect, the “Constitution” by which a local government is formed and functions.
