Application for Water Treatment Plant
On June 24, 2026 at 6 PM Pittsylvania County and the Town of Hurt will be hosting a public meeting to discuss a potential grant application for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to help support improvements and upgrades to the Town of Hurt's existing water treatment plant and related infrastructure. These improvements are intended to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and long-term sustainability of the public water system, while supporting economic development opportunities and ensuring continued access to safe and dependable drinking water /or residents and businesses.
Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early. There will be a sign-in sheet for all attendees. A period of public comment will follow the County's presentation on the project.
